Knitwear

Now, knitwear and I have a very love/hate sort of relationship. I'm pretty much always cold, so I do see why it is necessary, and for that I love it, but it's just a bit expensive on the whole. I mean, who really wants to pay almost £50 for a jumper or cardigan that probably isn't even real wool or cashmere? Not me, that's for sure. Luckily, I actually have pretty much all the knitwear I think I will need for this year. Then again, there's always room for more everything. So, with that in mind, here is the knitwear (not the specific knitwear, but the general idea) that I would like to add to my wardrobe this Autumn/Winter.

Turtlenecks: I already own a black turtleneck, and I love the style of it so much that I would like a couple more. They are so, sorry for the cringey word that's about to happen, chic, they make any outfit look smart, and they're quintessentially French, and who doesn't love a bit of France eh? Cream and navy are the two colours I want the most, but I've also seen a couple of red and pink ones that are beautiful.

Cable Knit: I've wanted a cable knit jumper for the longest time, they just look so comfortable. Unfortunately, I've never been able to find a nice enough ladies one to buy. Hopefully this will change in the near future.

Fairisle Jumper: This jumper is a Winter classic. They're always confused with Christmas jumpers, but they are totally different. I've never had one of these, and I know there's a few of them knocking about already, so I'm going to have a browse in time for when it starts to get really cold.

What are your favourite items of knitwear?

  1. Love knitwear, but not the scratchy, making eyes sore kind. Something snuggly is fab!
