Not long after Lee and I had started going out, I found out that he'd never been to the theatre. Ever. And as someone who'd been to the theatre a lot, I found this strange. So it has been my mission ever since to get him to go to the theatre as much as I can. I took him to the open air theatre in Regent's Park for his birthday in 2013, but, for a few reasons, we've not been since. We saw that 2001: A Space Odyssey was on at the Plaza; a 1930s cinema turned theatre in the town where I live (Stockport) and, seeing as it's one of Lee's favourite films, we bought tickets to go and see it. And we loved every minute of it. I've never seen a film at the theatre, so it was even a new experience for me. We had a lovely evening, and I can definitely see more theatre trips happening soon.

I love theatre trips. Bristol has a couple of great ones to go to, I can't afford to go as often as I'd like though :( x
