So the time has come again for booktubeathon, a seven day reading challenge that happens every year. I don't really talk about books on YouTube so I thought I would blog about the challenge and the books I've chosen for each one.
1. A book with a person on the cover.
For this I chose The Easter Parade by Richard Yates.
2. A book that you bought because of the cover.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone: Slytherin Edition.
3. A hyped book.
On the other side by Carrie Hope Fletcher (I chose this for the hyped author rather than the book)
4. A book with a character different to you.
Alfred Hitchcock and the making of Psycho.
5. Read a book in a day.
Angels in America by Tony Kushner.
6. Read a book outdoors.
I've had to alter this one because of the constant rain, so I've changed it to 'read a book completely during dinner hours' which I've chosen A Month of Sundays by John Updike.
7. Read seven books.
Suite Francaise by Irene Nemirovsky.
I hope I get to read most of these if not all.
Nic
