Disneyland Paris February 2019: Day Three

Day three of our Disneyland Paris trip again started with photos; I was roped in to photographing an entire shoot for a family whilst I waited for Sam, who’d sent me away whilst he went and bought something. I didn’t mind though, and I was full of excitement as we were on our way to have a princess breakfast at Auberge de Cendrillon. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, we got pastries and Mickey Waffles and fruit and oatmeal and veal sausages and endless hot chocolate, and we got to meet Snow White, Cinderella, and, my favourite princess, Aurora. During the breakfast Sam surprised me with a beautiful castle necklace, which all of the princesses loved, and I have sworn to wear every single day for the rest of time.

After our breakfast we watched Team Princesses again, and, seeing as we were wearing our Team Pirates and Team Princesses sweaters, we got fantastic interaction from the guest flow Cast Members, which carried on throughout the day. We went and had lunch at Hakuna Matata, and went on Big Thunder, Casey Jr, the Teacups and Hyperspace Mountain again, before heading to Central Plaza to watch our final Make Your Choice. We then ended the trip the way we’d started it by going on Star Tours, which we’ve now decided we have to do on every future Disney trip, and had Croque Monseiurs before having to get our TGV back to the airport for our flight back to Gatwick.

We had the most magical time, and are now very excited for our next Disney holiday together.

Disneyland Paris February 2019: Day Two

Day two of our Disneyland Paris trip started with extra magic hour, where we took some photos and rode Hyperspace Mountain. We then got fast passes for Big Thunder Mountain and had some breakfast, and then watched Team Princesses on castle stage. Then, whilst we waited for our Big Thunder fast passes, we got one for Peter Pan’s Flight, and went on It’s A Small World. We then watched Team Pirates again, and then went over to the studios, where we rode Tower of Terror, ate a Han Solo and TIE Fighter biscuit, watched the Imperial March and met Chewbacca! We had lunch at Bella Notte and rode Thunder Mountain and Peter Pan, watched more Make Your Choice shows and Stars on Parade, went shopping and ate a Casey’s hot dog, and then we watched Illuminations and headed back to the hotel via the Disney Village.

Disneyland Paris February 2019: Day One

As I said in my previous post, myself and Sam spent the end of February at my favourite place in the world; Disneyland Paris. So, as is tradition, I thought I’d write a little day by day trip report, starting with day one.

We were flying from Gatwick airport at 8:10am, so that meant an early start. Luckily the airport had a Harry Potter shop, so I was already in my element wandering around there. A quick plane journey later and we were ready to board the Magical Shuttle. When we got to the park we’d just missed a Make Your Choice show, so we went straight to the Annual Pass office, where I had the quickest experience I’ve ever had in that place, and then went on Sam’s favourite ride: Star Tours. After that we got fast passes for Buzz Lightyear, went to Cafe Hyperion for BB8 burgers (which were actually Sam’s favourite food of the entire trip, he’s still talking about them now) and found a spot for Team Pirates on Main Street. After the show was finished, and we’d also watched Team Princesses at Central Plaza, we went back over to Discoveryland for a ride on Hyperspace Mountain, via the Teacups. We then had our Buzz Lightyear fast passes, spoiler alert: I did not win, and then we watched Stars on Parade and went over to the Studios Park where we got a Yoda face and Wookie Cookie, watched the First Order March, the Star Wats stage show, went on Ratatouille, and watched the Star Wars fireworks. We then went and had the Star Wars seasonal menu at the quick service place in Studio One, which had a delightful dessert and a weird burger, and decided to end our day with a drink in Cafe Fantasia. Then we decided it was time to head back to our hotel (HiPark) ready for a night of rest before extra magic hour the next day.

February in Review

I can’t believe it’s the 10th March as I’m writing this, however, I’ve had a bit of a whirlwind couple of weeks, and posts are better late than never, right? So I’ll tell you about my February anyway.

The month went by in a bit of a blur, but then, after the annual disaster that is January, I’m not really surprised. February was a bit of a quiet month (as all my months will kind of be until Florida) but I still managed to try the dessert cafe in my town not once, but twice, celebrate my first Valentines Day with Sam, got my first ever delivery of flowers for said Val Day, get potentially the biggest haircut of my life (I am Taylor Swift now, ok?!) and end the month at my favourite place in the world, Disneyland Paris.

What I read in February
Well it’s safe to say I’m still not flying through my reading challenge this year, but I did read 4 books in February, which were:
Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane
The Power by Naomi Alderman
Forbidden Colours by Yukio Mishima
Fair Stood the Wind for France by H E Bates

See you all next month for another monthly review.
