Whenever people ask me what my favourite style decade, my answer is always a default; the 60s, so when Glitzy Secrets launched their quiz to find what style era you fit in to, I knew I had to take the quiz, and, lo and behold, I got the sixties. So here, I thought I'd showcase for you my love of a staple sixties item in collage form; the miniskirt.
Various skirts from Topshop, New Look and Misguided. Dress from the Uniqlo x Celia Birtwell collaboration.
I love miniskirts, so much so that I'd happily wear them every day and not get bored. I have a multitude of minis in my wardrobe, but the ones pictured above are my favourites. They vary in age and style, but I'll go back to them again and again. (By the way, I know the last outfit in the collage isn't a miniskirt, but it was designed by 60s fabric legend Celia Burtwell, so you can let me off with that one.) Hats off to Mary Quant/Andre Courreges/whoever it was for inventing them, and long may that stick around.
Itching to find out your style era? Take the quiz here.
