The Nightmare Before Christmas by Tim Burton

I think it's safe to say I have a bit of a thing for The Nightmare Before Christmas: I watch it every year at both Halloween and Christmas, I get excited when I see new NBC Tsum Tsums, I use my Jack Skellington cup for the whole of October, and it was one of, if not the first DVD that I actually owned that was just mine. So when I was invited to see the new Nightmare Before Christmas book from Puffin Books, I obviously squealed and said yes right away.

I simply adore this book, I love anything by Tim Burton, I think his work is masterful, and when I saw that he wrote and illustrated the entire thing himself, I was very excited. The story of NBC is told in poetry form in this book, which took me by surprise, but it really worked. Plus, look at the illustrations, they are amazing. The book is out now and has an RRP of £12.99, and I think it would make a wonderful Christmas present.

Book was very kindly sent to me by Puffin Books, but my Nightmare Before Christmas fangirling is 100% my own.
