The weekend just gone my con season on 2017 finally started; I went to MCM Expo (as if you didn't know) so today I thought I would talk about my couple of days there. We got the train at 8:20 on the Saturday morning, and arrived at the ExCel just after half past 11. Saturday was absolutely heaving, I've never known a con to be anything like that, but we still managed to get around the stalls and buy a couple of things, which you will know if you saw my last post. We also watched the cosplay masquerade, which is a little tradition at cons, it was great as always. With our very tired feet after a day of walking around the con, we left at five to head to our hotel, and go for a meal at Zizzi as a way to end the first day of the con.
On the Sunday, we were up early to head to our second day of the con. We knew we couldn't stay until the end on day two, so we got to the con as early as we could. On the second day I had one mission: to meet KJ Apa, which I achieved, and it was amazing. For a first time meeting a guest at a con, it was pretty much perfect. We also went and looked at the stalls again, and spent some time outside admiring all of the amazing cosplays. I already can't wait for my next con, and to make more cosplays.
